The book is hilarious. There is no big plot as such but is a big list of funny encounters in Leena’s life via a matrimonial website. The narration was fine and language was easy to read. The character creation and the build up of each prospective groom was really good and funny. The mother-daughter relationship was build very beautifully. It felt like the mother is modern but with a pinch of old-school thoughts. Though i felt her dad should have received a bit more spotlight in the book. I read the entire book in one sitting, as i started reading i was gripped in the pages. Towards the end when Leena finally met her groom, it was a happy moment as i did not see it coming in the beginning but it got evident towards the end. I also felt sad as there are no more crazy laddoos to taste. But i calmed myself down with the thought that every thing good or bad and especially good has a ending. This book would make a wonderful movie. A social issue ie the stigma of divorced women and the society, raised here in a comic tone was also a good part about this book. The book made me laugh and smile. It was a fun read.
I rate this book five out of five stars for entertaining me and being the most hysterical book in town. I still wish there was a second part to this book with more such funny encounters. I am deeply in love with this book. I recommend this book to everyone. It is completely worth your time and money.
